It was getting close to fall. The leave had started to change their colors. The birds were hurrying back to to their nests. The sun had a beautiful tint to the sky, and was all ready to set.

As I drove to those windy road up in the mountains, my mind was filled with excitement. I wished I had some one next to me to express my feeling of affection. After all, I was going to photograph an outdoor wedding next day.

My thoughts went out to my own wedding some 17 years ago. How I wished that I could go back and do every thing right. My wedding then, and the process of getting married, has now taught me some important lessons. Those lessons were to stay.

Lesson number One, Wedding starts before you get married; way before, when you have not even considered getting married.
